The countdown is on. With only a few weeks left till "T-Day", many of our red belt students are focusing on their community serice projects. Keep on eye out at your school to see what you can do to help. Megan Goss is currently running a clothing drive. Be sure to clean out your closets and bring in any extra stuff! Thanks!

Student Handbook Be sure to get with a staff member next time you're at the school to order your book. We hear it contains 95% of the information you need for your Black Belt Test... so the sooner you get it, the better! There are a few remaining t-shirts for adults, Black Belt Club members, and Master Club students. $15 for one or $25 for two. (Get an extra grey one in case you need it for a future knife seminar! *smile*) |
USA Martial Arts Convention This is a "don't miss" event! With seminars, kickboxing certification, special guests & speakers, parties, dinners, awards, plenty of loot, and the rubber duck race in the lazy river, you can't afford not to be there! Deadline for early registration: Aug. 10th. See staff for details. |
Official candidates for the October Black Belt Test will be announced at the end-of-August progress check. Make a point to be there with your cleanest (complete) uniform, best attitude, and sharp technique! If you are selected you will get your paperwork/packets at that time. All other color belts: make sure you're there to support your fellow students! School Demo... Schools will compete for the "spirit award" at November's Black Belt Spectacular. All students are welcome to join us on stage to perform Chun-gi, 8-point blocking, and a school cheer. The winner will receive a sword for display at the school.
